Kayla Spencer has lived in Wyoming for most of her life, and received her A.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Business Administration. Kayla attended the University of Wyoming College of Law and received her J.D. in 2016, where she graduated with honors. While attending law school, Kayla joined the International Human Rights Clinic and assisted a client seeking asylum in the U.S., in addition to taking part in investigating allegations of international human rights violations. She also enjoyed competing in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
Kayla started her career as a law clerk in Park County, Cody Wyoming, for the Honorable Steven Cranfill. During her clerkship she also enjoyed the honor of contributing to a Wyoming Supreme Court opinion.
Kayla lives in the Laramie area with her husband, dog, and cat. When she is not working, she loves to read and spend time with family. Kayla is also proud to be a member of the Wyoming Access to Justice Commission.
